ביוגרפיה

סתיו הוקמו ב-1986 ע"י אבי סרגה (שירה וגיטרות, כותב ומלחין השירים העיקרי), שוקי מלכי (שירה, גיטרות), אלי פת-אל (שירה, באס) ואלי צור (תופים). ההרכב ניגן רוק מקורי בעברית. חמש שנים ניגן והופיע במתכונת זו, אך ב-1991 השתנה הליין-אפ וכלל את סרגה ומלכי בתוספת דן כהן (תופים), דויד סבן (באס) ודיויד פרידלנד (קלידים).  הרכב זה הקליט אלבום בשם "רקויאם לנביא" וכעבור שנתיים התפרק.

סרגה וכהן המשיכו לפעול יחד כצמד וב-1994 הקימו לעצמם את טולקין באופן רשמי, כאשר אליהם התלוו חברים מוסיקאים להופעות והקלטות לפי הצורך והכיף. הקלטות אלה הניבו שני אלבומים, הפעם בשפה האנגלית: "Oomph" (ב-1995) ו-Remedy (ב-1997). ב-2007 חזרו לפעילות לאחר קפאון מוסיקלי של שבע שנים והקליטו סינגל חדש, Come Alive.
